
On Friday, October 12, at 1:00 PM Eastern, David Herring, manager of the NOAA Climate Program Office's (CPO) Communication, Education and Engagement (CEE) division, will discuss the new Fiscal Year 2019 Federal Funding Opportunity (FFO), titled "Building U.S. Communities’ and Businesses’ Resilience to Extreme Events.” Additionally, John Nordgren, director of the Climate Resilience Fund, will describe the CRF's annual grant opportunity.
The webinar is free and open to the public. Individuals and/or groups who are working to build climate resilience in the United States are encouraged to participate. The webinar will be recorded and made available within a day or two after the event.
